You guys are on such a high right now that I think your cheeks are going to hurt from smiling so much!
When we were at the Dolton 2 years ago, there was a shop just to the right as you exit the hotel and down a few paces. They sell tobacco and stuff, but there was Diet Coke (or Coke Light) there. If not, ask the front desk if there is a shopping place around and they can write out the directions for you in Chinese and ask the locals showing them the directions.
thanks for sharing your happiness. i'm a waiting gramma and love to see the happiness and love on everyone's faces and in their voices. my daughter's lid dae is 02/17/06 so we have a longer wait yet. your mia is sure beautiful and looks so sweet. much love and happiness to your family. linda
Hey Christy! Where do you get the book, "When you were born in China?" Thanks for all of the tips! WOW, now we will know not to ask for diapers but for diaper pants! THANKS. I can't imagine tying a string around a baby's waist to hold on a diaper! WOW. Mia is simply beautiful and responding so well to the two of you! Congrats on her amazing transition! We LOVE LOVE LOVE the videos, tips, pictures and treasure everything as we await OUR turn! God bless you both! Susan

I am Christy and am married to my amazing high school sweetheart Kevin. We have 2 active hockey playing boys, Ethan age 14 and Owen age 12. We adopted our first beautiful daughter Mia from China on May 21, 2007 and we adopted our beautiful second daughter, Finley from northern China on January 24, 2011. Finley and Mia are 5 and 6 years old and less than a year apart and get along great! We just brought home our newest beautiful daughter, Emery who was born April 6, 2011 in Yunnan China. She arrived home on June 27 2012 and is doing amazing! Our family lives in Southern California where Kevin is a retired police officer now working part time as our Short-Term Mission Coordinator at our church and I am a part time Educational psychologist. We love our Lord Jesus Christ and we strive to make him the center of our family! This blog is to document our life as an active family of 7!!!
Such a cute video! Love it!
