And We're Off

 

 

 

 

So, we are gone--- yaaaa!!!! The first picture is of us leaving the boys last night. We took them over to grandma and grandpa's and put them to bed and then Cassie took us to the airport. We got to LAX and said our goodbye's and checked in and we were fortunate enough to get the upgrade to business class which was amazing-- THANKS CHRIS!!!!! Anyway, no sooner had we checked in that I realized that I had left my cell phone in my car which Cass was driving home. I was so freaked out and had no idea how to call Cass. I figured out how to use a pay phone (it's been a long time) and made cass turn around and come back to LAX and she was almost home when I called her. She was gracious enough to be fine with it and came back and dropped my cell-- THANKS CASS!!

Anyway, we got to go to the business lounge which was awesome-- tons of free food-- and then we got in line for boarding. We waited forever and it ended up that our flight was delayed over an hour. It sucked but we were in Business class so we were able to sleep really well on the flight. Both Kev and I slept about 7 hours and then woke up and watched movies, read and relaxed for the final 7 hours-- uggg long flight. Anyway, we arrived in Hong Kong just as our connector flight to Beijing was taking off-- another uggggg!!! So, we were put on a new flight that leaves in about 15 minutes (11:55am HK time). So, we are waiting to board and that is what is up with us. We will arrive in Beijing around 3pm and then check into our hotel, have dinner and then try to get some sleep. We are about 15 hours ahead of you.

Anyway, got to go. They just started boarding. We already miss you boys. We love you sooooo very much and cant wait to see you soon.
