This weekend was supposed to be a relaxing time to unwind but it is not turning out to be so. We are babysitting our friends kids (Carson and Hannah) and we also are watching after Jordan tonight. Then, their friend Jake wanted to also spend the night so I thought-- WHY NOT??? If you have 5 why not make it 6. So, Ethan, Owen, Carson, Hannah, Jordan, Jake, Mia, Kev and I (oh ya and my sister Cassie stopped by for a few also) had a relaxing night at home. Well, we had a night at home-- maybe not relaxing-- but a night at home.
I was cleaning up and decided to vacuum under our family room coffee table so I moved it and left the carpet area open. Well, the boys happened to walk in at that time and noticed the open area and said they wanted to have a dance party. I looked at all these white boys and thought- dance party- you boys??? But their faithful friend Jordan who knows how to move decided to give them some pointers. So, the dance party began.
We started the Dance Party with Owen (my 7 year old son) who managed to smack his head on the coffee table forcing me to enlist a few RULES for the party. The rules were not followed very well but it was a bit better. I will now proceed with the Dance Party and our participants- Owen, Carson, Jake, Jordan and Ethan. Hannah pulled out at the last minute but we were very lucky to have a guest dance group at the end-- The 3some of Ethan, Jake and Jordan!!
Enjoy the Dance Party (each video is 1 min long)!!!

You are a brave mom! :) Great videos!!
ReplyDeleteLast night I was on the phone with my girlfriend that was with me when I saw you at Lucilles and she was telling me about her nieces dedication a few weeks ago. She said there was another little girl there who was Chinese and her name was Mia! She was laughing that there were 2 Mia's adopted from China. I asked what church it was at..PFB! It is such a small world Christy! Her brother and sis-in-law are Jamie and Adam and their kids, Ashley who was dedicated and Luke.

Kayce,
ReplyDeleteTHat is totally a trip. I think I know who you are talking about. I am constantly shocked at what a small world this is!! Such a trip about the Lucilles thing and you knowing Laila and then this-- strange. Anyway, have a great day!!
And yes, it was a lot of fun with the boys and their dancing. They just cracked me up-- they get so into it. We had fun but they were up until 1:30am so they are tired kids!
