Thank You Uncle Dave & Aunt Joyce!!

 

Mia received her first package in the mail today! It was from our Aunt Joyce and Uncle Dave. They have been so supportive of our adoption from day one and have been loyal supporters of our blog. Dave and Joyce gave Mia a beautiful bouquet of roses along with a darling little stuffed teddy bear for her birthday. Mia loved the bear and carried it around as she attempted to walk all night. She even took it to bed with her. She also liked the flowers but wanted to yank on them so we had to keep her at a bit of a distance. Anyway, we are so thankful for Dave and Joyce's support of our family and a BIG THANK YOU from Mia for her wonderful birthday gift!!

    How cute that Mia carried the bear around all night and took it to bed with her. Sounds like it was a wonderful 1st birthday for your sweet little girl.

    Oh how sweet. Happy birthday sweet girl. Spicy Girl was 14 months before she started walking. I don't know about Mia, but S.G.'s legs were tiny and weak when we got her (10 months). She had a little "catching up" to do...but in no time, she was running everywhere.
