The boys have really been enjoying this soccer season and they are both getting really good at the game. Neither of them have played on a soccer team outside of their peewee years so this is really their first major experience with soccer. As I mentioned before, we were very lucky they were put on the same team-- to make our lives a little easier. Anyway, the boys have had a great time and their skill level is growing with each practice and game.
Owen plays goal keeper a lot of time. He is a very good goalie because he is not scared of the ball and he is not scared to dive to put himself between the ball and the net.Ethan plays defense and forward. He is amazing at defense because he is very aggressive and will charge the ball to keep it from the goal and when he kicks the ball, the ball goes really far! He also plays forward and almost always scores when placed there but they usually have him in defense because he keeps the balls away so well.
Dad and Mia watching the game
Ethan charging the ball
Mia being less than happy-- the game was during her nap time
But, she was happy when a nice lady next to us gave her an oreo!!
