Forgotten Pictures

I forgot that last Monday, our first day of spring break, I took the kids to Disneyland. My sister Cass went with us and we had a really good time. We got there around noon and stayed really late. What was really fun was that we spent a lot of our time at California Adventure which we don't do very often. That place is sooooo cool and there were all kinds of fun things we did for the first time.

Sitting inside of the A

When you first enter California Adventure there is a huge Golden Gate Bridge-- very cool!!

Mia is way into Nemo right now and she was so excited to see this window display.

My kiddos-- wow are they getting big!!

There is this whole animation studio area within California Adventure and it is really cool. There are different rooms you can go in and do various art type projects. We were in the moving animation room here.

Mia was playing with another thing-- not sure what but it was cool.

Mia operating this machine where when you spin the wheel the animation begins.

This is a cool interactive book thing that puts your face and info into the book.

Here is Mia and Ethan in the story.

They actually have an animator teach a class and you get to learn how to draw a Disney Character. We drew Goofy.

Cassie and Owen showing their finished Goofys

Mommy and Owen showing their creations

The boys love the Screamer which is the really fast roller coaster. The coaster starts out in the middle of the water at a complete stop and then jets you off. Observers can watch from a platform above. This is Mia and I waiting for Cassie and the boys to come by.

Mia using her "dinglehopper" to brush her hair. It was so cute-- she saw a fork on the ground and absolutely insisted that she use the "dinglehopper" in her hair. She kept it with her for the rest of the day.

Big smile!!

Cassie, Ethan and Owen is on the other side of Cass. They were ready for take off.

Then it was Mommy's turn to go. Owen is behind me.

Auntie Cassie spoiled the kids and bought them cotton candy. Mia was on cloud 9-- literally!!!

Getting ready to go on the Toy Story 3-D ride.

It actually is a really cool ride. You shoot things and get points-- I did very well thank you very much!!!

Smile!

This was totally unprompted. It was so funny that I actually caught it on camera. She does it all the time but I never catch it.

We had a blast and it was a great beginning to our spring break that by the way went WAY too fast. My good pal Kim and her family are coming out from AZ to CA for a visit and I am going to finally get to meet her and go to Disneyland. I am sooo excited to finally get to meet my dear blogger friend and for her to finally meet Mia. She has been an amazing support over the years. Kim, I'm counting the days!!!

  4. Wow, I can't believe you guys got that much done at Disneyland that day! I am so jealous that you can ride the "big kid" rides when your sister is there. I am guessing it was pretty crowded that day since I didn't hear from you. Is Kim open to meeting other moms?

Cute pics...love them all, and I have been on a serious mission to find a pair of the Lelli Kelly shoes at a discount!
