Artichokes Please!!!

As stated in previous posts, our family loves artichokes. The boys could eat two each and Kevin and I totally love them also. We eat them frequently when they are in season. Mia has kind of chewed on them a bit but never seemed to take much of an interest in them. Last night we ate kind of late so Mia had already eaten but she was very interested in the artichokes so we gave her some. Surprisingly she loved them! She actually ate them the correct way and drug her lower teeth on the leaf and got all the good stuff off. After she was done with a leaf she would throw the leaf back onto the table and squeal for another one. So, I guess Mia is an artichoke eater like the rest of us-- yaaa!!!

Kevin has another DUI checkpoint tonight so I am going to pick the boys up from school and head to Disneyland. I do realize I am totally crazy as I am planning on taking the boys, their cousins Kaitlyn and Kylie and two of their other friends Carson and Kas. Yes I do realize that is 7 kids but my sister is coming so I think we will be fine. I have taken 6 kids before-- pre Mia, but with Mia I really have to have another adult to ride the rides with the older kids or stay with Mia while I ride the rides. Anyway, it should be interesting.
